Delivery Guide & General Information

Our delivery procedure is explained below, please see our Terms & Conditions  for full details.

FREE SAMPLES

Samples are delivered by Royal Mail and should arrive 2-3 days from your request. Bespoke samples will take 5-10 days to arrive as these are not standard stock items.

 DELIVERY OPTIONS

All of our sock items are usually delivered within 3 days from confirmation that your order has been accepted and payment has cleared. Our specially crafted bespoke flooring typically takes 14-21 days to be created. If the item you wish to order is currently out of stock please contact customerservice@woodenfloorsonline.co.uk to discuss.

Deliveries are handled by our third party courier, Palletways. We have two delivery options for you to choose from.

  1. Standard kerb-side at £40.00 per order. Your driver will place your goods on the pavement or driveway outside the delivery address but will not assist you with moving the items into the property. Delivery times are between 08.00 hrs – 17.00hrs. We will advise you of the delivery date by email, where possible we will try to arrange a date that has been requested by you prior to dispatch.
  2. AM Slot at £95.00 per order.  As with a standard kerb-side delivery your driver will place your goods on the pavement or driveway outside the delivery address but will not assist you with moving the items into the property. Delivery times are between 08.00 hrs – 13.00hrs. We will advise you of the delivery date by email, where possible we will try to arrange a date that has been requested by you prior to dispatch.

 

IMPORTANT DELIVERY INFORMATION

Procedures for Damaged Delivery

Please make sure that when delivery is made all products are checked and any breakages are stated clearly on the delivery note. In the event that you sign for the order that includes damaged products and do not clearly state the damage on the delivery note we reserve the right to refuse any replacements or refunds. We request a written confirmation of any breakages within 24 hours of the delivery, take digital photos of the damaged items and email us with these details so we can address this as soon as possible.

Delivery Company & Delivery Site

All deliveries are subcontracted to the Palletways network . It is important that we are informed, at the time of your order, of any restrictions that may cause problems for the delivery lorry. Please try to ensure that any cars or other obstacles that may be present are removed before delivery.  You may be charged for re-delivery if you have not told us of any possible restrictions.

Drop-off Point

The delivery driver cannot help with moving goods inside the delivery site, the load will be dropped at the nearest convenient point to the site, which could be the roadside. Anything you can do to help ensure the order can be dropped as close as possible to your location would be appreciated. You (or someone on your behalf) must be there to receive the delivery, otherwise your goods will not be off-loaded and you will be charged for re-delivery. Please make sure that when delivery has been made and all products are checked and the delivery note is signed.  We will not accept any discrepancies if the delivery note is signed UNCHECKED. If you have asked someone else to receive the delivery on your behalf, they must be thoroughly informed of these conditions.

Bespoke Production Delivery Date

For all bespoke production we will advise you of an approximate time frame of when your materials should be ready for dispatch from the factory.
